Four-time KJHL champion Peguis Juniors begin their campaign for a fifth consecutive title this Saturday when they host newcomer NCN Flames. Game time at Peguis Multiplex is scheduled for 7:30 PM.
The Flames are returning after a 15-year hiatus. The original installment of the franchise competed for four seasons in the Northwest Junior Hockey League, winning two league titles and the Baldy Northcutt Trophy in 2002.
In preparation for the regular season Peguis split a pair of exhibition games OCN Storm. With both teams returning a number of veterans the same two could meet again come playoff time.
